Marvel Zombies Season 1 Review – A Bloody Step Forward or Just MCUfication?
It is not seen moving away from it anywhere, what you feel after watching Disney MCU content that yes, they make things like this, and this time they have increased the bloodshed. Just a little bit. The rest of the formula is same. Now if I tell you about my main story without any spoilers. Then yes. There are many such things in the story which you should enjoy by seeing them personally. Only then will that surprise me a bit hit for you. However, coming out of the world of What If,
Marvel Zombies follows the same continuity of how the people of this Earth were transformed into zombies during the events of the Infinity War. In which a virus turned the entire Earth's population into zombies. Including Core Avengers members, there were A few people remaining Avengers. The upcoming superheroes try to put an end to this zombie plague as a last hope. For which they all have to come together and fight the queen of the dead. Such as Wanda Maximoff.
Story (Spoiler-Free)
Wanda Maximoff wants to heal Arthur in her own way. In which, for now, it has been decided that no matter which universe you go to. This woman can never be good. There is always something or the other regarding its power, and here she is, damn smart.
Are you becoming a zombie and seeing what she wants to do you Wonder why this now. Well If you should see that thing in the entire show. That experience in itself is very fun. There are four episodes of half an hour each; if you look at them together, it feels like a movie. And it is fun to watch it. The end is not complete. Here are the upcoming stories. It may end in seasons two and three as well. In which its story is mainly focused on Kamala. She is the final girl of the story, and to protect him, we get to see Blade, Night, Spider-man, Shang-Chi and Namor. A lot of globes of Gamer Taj. And a lot of cool little tags and cameos featuring him. In which my personal favorite was blade night. That was the perfect choice. He was too good. The guy was farming the entire Aura.
what doesn't work
While we are talking about Marvel Zombies, If I were to comment on some of the negatives of Marvel Zombies. The only thing I would point out is that the show has mass but lacks depth with some important tips. There's a lot of show value, too. It is full of awesomely cool moments, but the show doesn't allow breathing in a tense atmosphere. That makes the stakes feel important. Which comes from the depth only like the Japanese anime, such as Demon Slayer series and the Infinity Castle movie have.
If there had been that breathing space for its core stories, where it was jumping from one main character to another main character. If we had given the show a little pause, then maybe it would have given you a terrible little pause. Feeling on a different ground level like OMG What was that. Due to which it is fun to watch, but it does not feel important. It seems like a small side mission that you will forget after watching it. If you don't mind too much then it will be fine and no happens if you like this show and if you perceive it this way that it's fine. What I want to say is. That if I had got some time to breathe. This could have been something very big. Such as? shang chi getting his powers, bruce banner and his transition, Namor and Thor's depression, and the gods fighting in the ally. All those things are very big stories, which in my opinion, needed to get some exposure. In which those were so bad as concepts. And the right way to feel their gravity was to give it time, which this show did not, give properly and it felt a little rude. But apart from all these things overall Marvel Zombies is a damn good show . I hope that OK I can wait for it more. There are insane moments and amazing references. There are a lot of Easter eggs despite having low expectations. The show has delivered quite well. And after a long time of seeing such content from Marvel, I felt that yes, there is something special in it.
